BCUK Aquatics take every care to make sure your payment is received in a secure and timely manner. Payments made through this website are done so via a third-party payment gateway (PayPal®), and as such, BCUK Aquatics claim no responsibility for any delayed or incorrect transactions. Furthermore, any criminal activity associated with or resulting from your payment being made through third party service such as PayPal® is not the responsibility of BCUK Aquatics.
Payments for orders can also be made over the telephone by credit/ debit card, in the post via cheque, or by FPS Bank transfer or BACS payment system. Payment is processed by us at the point the order is confirmed by you with respect to payments made by PayPal or at the point the goods are prepared for despatch for all other methods of payment.
All orders are shipped on a next working day service (UK mainland) if received before 1pm on the day of despatch. Orders recieved after 1pm will be despatched on the next working day. The delivery time for orders to other parts of UK (Highlands and Islands) may vary. Orders are sent with Royal Mail and APC Couriers but other carriers may be used without notice and at the discretion of BCUK Aquatics. BCUK Aquatics accepts no responsibility for loss/ damage of goods whilst in transit or any consequential loss caused by delay in delivery once orders have been despatched. BCUK Aquatics shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
Order Tracking
If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier you can request this by e-mailing support@food4fish.co.uk. Please note that some orders sent 1st Class with Royal Mail will not have tracking numbers.
Shipping Rates
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be.
You can return or exchange any goods purchased from BCUK Aquatics Maxspect Spares Shop (www.maxspect.co.uk/shop) within 14 days of receiving them. Upon arrival do not sign for or accept delivery if there is any indication of damage caused to your goods. Only items purchased through www.maxspect.co.uk are eligible for return. Items purchased through any of our 3rd party retailers are subject to the individual retailer’s return policies. BCUK Aquatics does not accept returns purchased through 3rd party retailers. The return of any unwanted goods will be at your, the customers, expense and all returns must be in an unused, undamaged condition together with such documentation necessary to enable us to identify you as the purchaser of the goods. All returned goods must be received within 14 days after confirmation has been given to return them. Any non-faulty or undamaged goods which arrive in either a damaged or non-resale condition will not be considered for a full refund, full exchange or credit.
Until we receive the goods, you are responsible for the condition and any damage which occurs to the goods. You should obtain a proof of postage for the goods so that in the event of the goods becoming lost you have a proof you returned it. Once we have received the goods, we will refund the purchase price (less any original carriage charges) immediately, or in any case within 30 days.
Damaged / Faulty goods must be returned within 14 days after confirmation is given. These goods must be returned initially at your own expense together with such documentation necessary to enable us to identify you as the purchaser.
We will inspect the goods, and in the event that they are in fact damaged / faulty, we will repair or replace them at our absolute discretion. Due to the nature of goods we supply, it may be necessary to send the goods back to the manufacturer for an expert assessment on the alleged damage / fault. If the manufacturer tests the goods and deems them NOT faulty or damaged, they will be returned to you at an additional cost to cover postage and packaging.
BCUK Aquatics does not accept liability for any consequential loss caused by damaged or faulty items, delay in despatch or delays caused by couriers.
If any part of these Website Terms is deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable (including any provision in which BCUK Aquatics excludes its liability to you) then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from the Website Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other part of the Website Terms.
